GFAB Inc. is a newly incorporated not‑for‑profit association. As a community‑led and volunteer‑run organisation, we are committed to being open and transparent about our essential operational costs and how we use our funds.

GFAB Inc. – Operational Cost Overview (2026)

GFAB Inc. incurs ongoing operational expenses to support governance, compliance, communication, financial management, payment processing, and the delivery of community basketball programs.

Governance & Compliance

• Consumer Affairs Victoria Annual Registration Fee $84.10 Required each year to maintain our legal status as an incorporated association.

​

Insurance 

• Public Liability + Professional Indemnity + Management Liability

• Equivalent monthly cost: $168.44 per month (1st payment $228.44 - application fee added)

This insurance is essential for protecting the organisation, volunteers, committee members, and participants during official activities and events.

 

Digital Infrastructure

These tools support communication, registration, scheduling, and the smooth running of our programs.

• Domain Name (3‑year registration) $44.55

• Google Workspace Email (admin@gfabinc.com.au) $13.20 per month Started March 2026

• Google Workspace Email (finance@gfabinc.com.au) $13.20 per month Started July 2026

• Website Lite Plan $33.00 per month Started March 2026

These are our current operational costs only. Season 5 has begun, and all Season 5 expenses (court hire, uniforms, equipment, etc.) will be reported separately in a dedicated financial update.​
